Rope Access Open House

Come jump on the ropes or just come enjoy some pizza while networking! 

The goal of this event is to provide an opportunity for those considering training or entering into rope access a chance to try basic maneuvers and information in a safe & professional environment.

Additionally for those that are already in the industry it is a chance to do some networking, see presentations, get special equipment deals, product demos and bring organizations together.

During the hangout session you are invited to try out rope access under the supervision of our training staff / supervisors as well as participate in information sessions to learn about what rope access is, where it is applied, potential career opportunities and more. 

Who should attend: Individuals interested in Rope Access, Trade Workers, Current Rope Techs, vendors and current RAM employees friends & family.

When: 4pm to 9pm

No registration required. Just come say hi! By participating you are agreeing to the conditions and requirements listed.

Logbooks

Bring your logbooks and log a few hours in a controlled environment under appropriate L3 supervision

Location

Age and Fitness

Participants must be at least 18 years old, have a valid piece of photo I.D., be physically and mentally fit and have a general inclination for working at heights. 

It is recommended to see a doctor for a physical check-up prior to participating or starting the course. As recommended by IRATA, candidates with certain conditions should refrain from taking a Rope Access training. Click the link to know more.

Event Hours

We start 4pm. Pizza is scheduled around 5pm.

Target Audience

This event is open to all levels, including those who have never done rope access before.

RAM will do an introduction on ascending and descending on ropes for those who are curious about trying it for themselves.

Additional Information

  • Equipment: RAM provides all the necessary equipment, including helmets.
  • Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing. Any closed-toe shoes will suffice, there is no need for steel-toe boots.
