This course is open to current IRATA Level 3 technicians only. Please read the course details below. By registering you are agreeing to the conditions and requirements listed.

Payment

Total course price is $850+HST for the 2-day course and includes the cost for the independent examination on day 3.

Independent Examination

All rope access courses include an independent examination at the end.

Upon completion, candidates are issued codes to undertake an exam at an independent examination facility called Pearson Vue.

Failed Examinations

If you fail your examination, you are permitted further attempts within 60 days from the first date of training. You are required to submit an "Examination Code Request Form" and pay a fee directly to IRATA (www.irata.org).

Eligibility

Candidates shall be current IRATA Level 3s (both during the course and examination day) and have their logbook.

Candidates shall also be registered on TechConnect and ensure their details are up-to-date.

Course Hours

We start at 8am and finish at 4pm daily. Lunch break is scheduled around noon. The course includes two days in class with an independent test administered independently by Pearson Vue.

Refund Policy

We are happy to refund deposits and course fees for a cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the start date of course.

Cancellations made 29 days or less could lead to non-refund of deposit if RAM is unable to fill the reserved spot. 

Cancellations made 7 days prior to course will lead to a loss of deposit.

Full payment is due on the first day of course, unfortunately if you are unable to continue the course after the first day the full cost of the course is non-refundable at that point.

Additional Course Information

  • Equipment: RAM provides all the necessary equipment, including helmets.
  • Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing. Any closed-toe shoes will suffice, there is no need for steel-toe boots.
  • Resources: You will be given a Training Manual on the first day of the course. There is homework scheduled everyday, so be prepared to spend some time after the day is done on theory questions, equipment info and revision of techniques.
